| Our
house in our secret village on a secret island in Thailand (sorry, we just
do not want to have this place spoiled by more tourists). |
|
It's
our neighbor's home as well as you see. |
 |
|
 |
| Alina
and Odin at our breakfast table. We are so glad having a breakfast cook that
spoils us every morning. Not to mention the filter coffee machine that I
managed to import to the island. |
|
Our
village seen from the Chinese temple. We life just 50 meters right of the
right transmission tower. |

|
 |
| Alina
took the photo of us at the pier where we feel pretty much at home with the
fishers. |

| Our
Driveway! |
|
Our
usual way to get around the island. A Honda Dream 125cc takes a lot of
offroad abuse. |

and Odin filling her up at the local gas station. |

On the
way from our home to my office in the mountains. |

|
 |
| The
view from the upstairs of my office. In front below me the bay above me in
the back the mountains raise up to 600 meters high. |
|
The
view from my office desk. Here I get some serious work done. I have
electricity in the cottage and the cellular modem connects me to the
Internet. There is even running water from the waterfall. |

Not
only was I impressed by the hospitality of the faculty, but the good food
served in the outside cafeteria where I dined with students. |
