Paris and Sociology

The Pantheon. Right in the basement, at the tomb of Rousseau, I found this famous sentence inscribed.

Place de la Comte at the Sorbonne. This woke old memories and I could not resist the ultimate tourist shot. When I was still a student I had the honor to present at the meeting "100 years pf Sociology" of the International Sociological Association.

While the Sorbonne is the oldest part of the Université Paris, Paris X is the newest.

Here I taught an advanced graduate seminar in ePublishing in Fall 2007. The students were amazing and the facility splendid. Above you see the balcony of my classroom on the left top story. On the picture left you see the view I had from this balcony.
