Buell 1125R

I searched a while to get the the rare option of the full fairing and to get it in all black.

More than most can handle. After 25 years of Buell, this is the last year of the last line. I have recently acquired this rare beast. It stands in Germany where some roads allow it to open her up and breath. It is too much for ordinary traffic – believe me. On the tracks that we have close by in the Odenwald (Zotzenbach) or in Hockenheim (Hockenheim Ring) it is pure fun. Autobahn? Once in a while, but just for adrenaline production or for jetting from point A to B.  Had a shoe on the track at 240 km/h.

Sound? Like a bucket of nails when you try to drive slow. Then a mellow low tone that transients into a more aggressive bark. You forget listening while you try keeping the front wheel put and just grab on. Finally, reaching 5 digits RPM, just before you switch gears, the large twin releases an inferno that Wagner’s Valkyries had hailed.

A bike called Schwarzenegger, not just for its strength but its origin. American but with a heart from Austria. The two last years Eric Buell had Rotax built an engine to his specifications.  This made it competitive on the track. No matter how you like tuning an Harley engine, it just will not cut it on the track. Rotax builds engines for KTM and some BMW motorcycles.

I love the bag I got.
