Eastern 1998, a trip to Big Bend National Park TX (click on images)
While some people were busy, I explored the Texan-Mexican border.
Crossing the boarder would have been to mus hassle with my Alien II standard. At least I threw a stone across the Rio Grande to Mexico.
Finally, this path was labeled. Some hours before, I navigated with my GPS, and saw this path as a perfect shortcut. The lower part of the campground was off limits because of a mountain lion with two kiddies. Great idea!! And how does the lion know that the upper part is off limits for her? The rangers gave us good advice: "If you see a lion, appear large and throw stones." Pointed stones, to follow the stoning interpretation of Monthy Phython?
Beep, beep!!! Roadrunners really make strange sounds.
